Do all white paints peel?

I’m debating on buying a 2019 trd pro tacoma. It is white but I am unsure if it is super white. The vin also starts with 5 which means it was made in texas (Idk if this makes a difference). Does the paint also peel on these tacoma’s? Haven’t seen many post about the 2019 trd pro white paint peeling. I DONT KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THE TITLE OF MY POST, BUT MY QUESTION IS DOES ALL WHITE PAINT ON TACOMAS PEEL. I would hate to buy the 2019 trd pro and have the paint peel later on.

not all do, ive see relatively new white lexus with peeling tho

 

A friend has a 2018 OR with 38k miles and it’s peeling. No way I would buy a white Tacoma 3rd Gen

 

My 2019 white truck is still white. No peeling so far.

 

My 2003 is white and the paint is great, I haven't waxed it in 8 years, only washed it a few times.....it is a GMC though

 

No peeling on my wife’s white 2011 rav4 or my white 2021 taco.

Toyota has issued a Warranty Enhancement on Super White paint on the Tacoma's. It set to start soon. It covers affected panels that are peeling. They have the same enhancement on Camry, Corolla, and Highlanders.

 

Maybe GMC hasn't forgotten what was probably the worst paint peeling epidemic in automotive history. After all, they produced it.

 

But they figured it out, after failing

 

I own a 2020 Tacoma and a 2020 Camry both white with around 50k miles on each of them and have no issues with the paint. I guess it could start coming off anytime but so far they are fine.

 

Some of the work trucks at a company I worked for a long time ago had the same peeling problem and they were gmc and chevy’s all white.

 

My 2012 Tacoma hasn't got any peeling issue. Paint still looks great.

 

2020 Super White. 67K miles and paint looks great! No peeling, flaking, etc.

 

My 09 with 99k that I bought new started peeling after about 5 years I’d say, I thought at first maybe it was the sun that caused it but it’s even peeling under the hood

 

2017, poor girl sits out in the sun all day no garage and so far, all good on my white paint. I'd say the vast majority have no problems with flaking or peeling as I think white is the most popular color.

 

also where it was manufactured literally makes no difference whatsoever, if you do buy it make sure you put 91 oct gas lol

For what it's worth, I have a 2020 'Super White'. Bought brand new in Aug. 2020.... Have had zero probs.
