Sporterised K98. Set trigger and a hair trigger. "Pencil" barrel in 30-06. No idea what year though, would have to check serial number. The trigger breaks at (my guess) less than an ounce when the set is engaged. I almost took my eye out with the scope the first time I fired it.

Not a collector but I’ve got a 1918 used ww1 98 my uncle brought back from ww2. Any idea where to find an estimated value for this?

    Check out Gunboards.com.
It's for Milsurp collectors and they have Mauser experts for every flavor.
Value is all about matching numbers, manufacturer, and of course, condition.

I have an old 7mm that has had the snot beat out of it. Can't hit the broad side of a barn with it. I use it as a wheel chock, or a pry bar. Just depends...
