I read through that thread on the frontiere forums. I must say that I am happy not being on those forums, as most of them look like closed minded nissan fans. The most present argument is how the interior of the taco "sucks" or "look cheap" compared to the frontiere, so I looked a a whole lot of interior picture of a frontiere, and there is nothing to brag about.

Haha cute, but my point being Taco is a cooler name than Fronty.

I own a Frontier but it will be replaced with a 4x4 dc Tacoma at some point. Frontier has been a good truck but after a bad experience with my dealer, I will be changing to a Tacoma. Besides at least a 4x4 Tacoma looks like it's a 4x4. Drives me nuts cause the Frontier sits so low.

i thought it was the other way around? lol

well i thought the plastic bed was crap when i first got the truck, but after some pretty mean abuse it's held up way better, and it hasn't dented like a metal bed would've. the only real major damage is a small gash in the bottom, that would have definitely ripped through a regular metal bed or at least dented it.

    composite bed=win

Really? who WOULDNT want a plastic bed? One of the reasons I started looking at Tacomas was because of things like this. So many stock options that you have to add on other trucks

Another one of the complaints over there is that you sit in it like a car.
I really like the way my tacomas feel (05 and 07 TRD sport DCs) for that very reason.
Trucks ride harsh, seats are always awkward and this is a good change imo.
I thought everyone wanted a truck/suv that felt like a car...why else did they come up with crossovers and so forth?
