My wife's '00 TJ, she bought brand new, has no wobble though puckers my butthole over 55mph.

 

5k at 80 is off, unless you take pics while accelerating, it shouldn't do that even in D while going up a hill...you should always pay attention to what your vehicle is doing and how it's behaving, that's just common sense.

...pics while driving at cruise are bad enough...but while accelerating? whatever, another reason why I don't let people stay beside me, they do stupid shit like that.

and putting the truck in s6 with ect on keeps it from shifting too much and unnecessarily.

 

ABSOLUTELY. Each one gets you an extra 5 HP (so doing the math, two will get you an extra 10HP) All that extra horsepower consumes more fuel so you have lower mpgs.

Case solved.

Still think you should get them.

 

Now I am confused. If ditch lights make you go faster by hyprercavitation of the space in front of the truck (Planck's Constant controlling the boundary layers in the hypercaviation zone), why does the truck consume more gas when it should consume less?

 

I was at 8000', ascending, and I had a loss of roughly 24 horsepower, and I do not lug low rpms while driving my V6 3rd Gen Tacoma engine. Automatic transmissions downshift themselves under load. Nothing wrong there.

I have a talented human codriver that took that picture. If I had ditch lights pointed backward I may have spotted other automobiles alongside me, though the two-lane highway was clear.

Did you read where I was complaining about the shifting in my Tacoma? Please don't put words in my mouth. That is much worse than lying to me.

The highly educated knowledge is proven that the Halogen bulbs are facing backward there is less heat from the dying tungsten which results in a drop in mpg though 100mph is only achievable with the 60's technology from the retroencabulator, hence LEDs that use the superduperhyperencabulator.

Now, I didn't lie to you, so not sure where that came from, my bad, I pissed you off so I understand, that's on me....was trying to be funny but obviously I'm not a stand up comedian I appreciate the further explanation, makes a lot of sense being at that altitude.

have you tried putting it in s6 and ect on? (it will automatically shift down when stopping and up when cruising, all the way to highest selected gear, no need to manually shift if it's in s6). it really will keep it from gear searching and shifting too much. When I drive in D with ect off it's constantly downshifting and upshifting...s6 and ect makes it drive much more...civilized. of course at that altitude not sure anything short of forced induction would really help :\

 

I understand. Many times my humor gets kicked to the curb and rolls into the gutter.

I do drive with higher revs and I was amazed that ascending that hill in D the truck did what it is supposed to do.

 

All jokes aside, you’ll need to install a flux capacitor if you want real effects. Once you hit 88mph, you’re gonna see some serious gains in mpg.
