The dealer could not tell me if my truck has LSD. One guy was trying to tell me they never made Tacoma with the Yamaha package :rolleyes:

One of the mechanics told me they never add LSD additive...they only put synthetic...

They told me Toyota doesn't have a LSD additive...anybody know the part number?

Needless to say I won't bring my truck there for the frame inspection...actually not sure which dealer in Ottawa, ON to bring it too....(open to suggestion)

I used 'Mobil 1' gear oil (75-130 in the back dif and 75-90 in the front) and it is rated for LSD difs too (ie. has the modifier included)

I have done that and they told me wrong . In fact I call 3 different dealers here in town gave them my vin # and they all told me that I had it. But When I did the jack the truck up and turned the rear wheels and one went one way and the other went the opposite direction then I new that I didn't. just my 0.02 cents.
