My Kings are finally here and it just occurred to me that there might be a clearance issue with +24 offset rims. Would it be fine to install them or should I wait till I get some 0 offset rims. Also anyone tried out those method bead grip wheels the 701s wondering if I get those or a full bead lock?

Backspacing? What UCAs you running? I know JBAs have some tight tolerances.

Full bead lock is for when you know without a doubt you need bead lock.

Probably not gonna have clearance issues with the coil over but possibly the UCA an tire size will contribute to that, the wheel offset/backspacing you select will play the biggest role.

For rim type depends on your use but since you got kings and are asking about it I’m going to assume you have intentions of wheeling your truck. I run true beadlocks an wouldn’t have it any other way, they’re not as big of a pain that everyone points them out to be but they certainly have their cons.

Yes I understand all the problems with bead lock I have them on my overland build but it’s a 96 dodge so I don’t know if it’s worse in tacomas

If you are asking if you will have clearance issues with a coilovers then you shouldn’t even consider beadlocks

A beadlock wheel is a beadlock wheel, regardless of what it goes on.
Do you plan on airing down under 13psi or so? If not, no need for beadlocks IMO. I've aired down to 10psi in sand and didn't have issues, however I have burped a bead at 12psi in rocks

Maybe but your questions aren’t Tacoma specific.

Lots of info here to help you along your away.
