I've got the billies, and am planning on setting them at 2.5. I have the 2" AAL. I also have some 7089's. As of now, I'm planning on going with 285/75/16's.

Will I need to get the 1/4in top plate on top of my billies in order to run the 285's? I know the tires will fit, it's just will adding the spacer require less trimming? Also I don't plan on doing UCA's anytime soon. I don't wanna F' anything up, so will I be ok?

Your gonna rub most likely without a spacer. Are you on stock coils?

My initial intentions were just to use the billies to level it out and run 265's, but then started to fall in love with the pics of trucks with 285's and figured I could just do the above, and run that size.
