So I am getting a 3 inch front and 2 inch rear lift. Also getting the Nitto LT285/70R17 Trail Grappler with the SSW off-road Dakar 17x9 -25 offset and I’m wondering will it fit good with minor plastic trim or do I have to do a major metal trim?

    Check in the suspension stickies.

I think someone has already posted something similar that might help you.

From all the threads I have read, get ready to do some major cutting, hammering, and most likely cab mount chop. You should consider UCA's and needle bearing replacement with clam shell. Advisable with anything over 2" lift.

Use the search function and read up. You will rub. That offset will make it worst. You will most likely need a CMC.

If you get the offset right, there won't be major rubbing. Some rubbing is to be expected

I'm running BFG 285/70R17 K02's on stock 2017 wheels, have a 2 1/2" lift all around and a Body Armor front bumper. No rubbing anywhere. Your neg wheel offset may cause you some issues at the fender corner on the front.
