I was driving home from work last week and when I came to a stop at a red light, the rear brakes started to squeak. They currently make the same noise ever once and a while when driving. Is this a sure sign that a brake job is required? I. Currently have 38,000 miles. What do these trucks usually run before new brakes are required? Any experience advice would be greatly appreciated!

It's more than likely it's brake dust got to the car wash and spay out your brakes and if that noise continues get it checked out just to be safe.
