This is a rabbit hole question in itself. The definition of "fit" varies per person as around the street driving is different compared to offroad where you do compress/cycle your components.

The next consideration would be the wheel, of the width and offset as that is a consideration as well! :)

Installing a set of UCA's would be a good move in the right direction for a 3" lift. If you are interested in SPC or Icon uca's, I have them in stock :) Shoot me a pm!

For that much why didn’t you go with the Eibach pro lift? It’s 10x better in almost every way. Eibach’s kit is cherry

Because from what I saw they only offered a 2” lift for my year truck

There’s a reason for that. 3” really makes this CVs unhappy. 2” is ideal for 3rd gens

Also, I’ll bet the eibach kit is almost the exact same height if you are truly concerned about a true “3 inches”. 3 inches is relative.

    Lol to everyone.

OP UCAs are up to you. It will help with 33s for fitment primarily. Depends what kind of 33 you plan on getting as well. They make 33" tires in a variety of widths which is where the real trimming will need to happen depending on which one you choose. I'm on 295s and I'll tell you now I did some trimming to get them to fit even with aftermarket UCAs.

At 3" you need new UCA or the edges of your tires will scrub when turning. When your front tires are all worn out on the edges, you will understand. Good luck with your truck.

Yeah I don’t really understand all the hate with rough country. Like I said I get it. It’s a budget lift. I also bought a 35k truck that is not cheap. Nobody should down or degrade anyone’s option for what they buy. We are all here because we love Tacoma’s. That’s the bottom line
