    alright guys, thanks for helping me make my decision. i have decided to add a leaf. i'm getting the 2" leaf from toyotec. my final question is: is this all i need? is there anything else i need to have this installed? do i need longer u-bolts, or will this work with my factory u-bolts?

    i'm not sure if i'm eligible man. it's an '06 and i'm the 2nd owner. but it doesn't have but 24,500 miles on it. idk if the previous owner got the 3yr or 36,000 mile warranty. if i'm under 36,000 miles am i still eligible?

Glassworks fenders and bedsides. Home fabbed bed cage. King 2.5x16 bypass shocks in the rear. DMZ long travel rear end. Race radio (2meter). Removed secondary carbon air filter. Exhaust dumped before the axle / no muffler. Phram fresh air cabin filter. K&N replacement filter, After market stereo, Grillcraft grill, custom fabled roof rack with 7" HID's, PRP race seats.

    A single add a leaf will work with the factory U bolts. It will work with up to three extra leafs and than beyond that you will need new U bolts.

    The warranty is 3 years or 36,000 miles-whichever comes first so no, you aren't eligible. It doesn't hurt to try, though.

    I have an 06 and had a similiar problem. Toyota denied me the TSB. I researched and found a shop with a solid reputation. I had my leaf springs re-arched to specs with an AAL. They did have to replace my U-bolts and they did it right at $ 500 compared to the $ 1834 Toyota was trying to charge me.

    yeah, i thought about re-arching them, but eventually they are going to sag again. and even though it's not as good as a new leaf pack, an add a leaf is what i'm going to try.
