If you’re going up to 3” the answer is yes.

I'm pretty certain you do regardless of the lift. The stock UCAs will hit the 3" coil springs at full droop.

2.5” lift, Fox 2.5 ext tvl adjustable w/ DSC, SPC adjustable UCAs, Icon RXT leaf pack, Superbump stops, 17x9 Fuel Podium Bronze wheels, 285/70/17 Cooper STT Pro
Not unless your going 2.5 and above, but I would go ahead and do it now. You’ll prob want to do it in the future anyways. You know, reasons

Yes you do. The amount of lift you set it at isn't as important (as far as clearance) because where you will hit is with the droop and that doesn't change if you have it at 0" or 3". Where the amount of lift matters is as you go up, you will require more caster to get it back to "normal".

exactly. anyone who lifts their truck should consider these:
    https://www.desertrat.com/i-2333616...lower-toyota-tacoma-2005-2017.html#!year=2017
for an additional $80 the benefits of having new, fresh cams with an extra 1.5* of adjustment will probably pay for them self in simplified alignment ability for the poor-tech who has the unfortunate luck of trying to reverse engineer your lift. Most "chain" alignment shops like (firestone) are often required to spec the truck to factory settings , irregardless of your non-factory lift.
Help them out as much as you can by having your UCA's set to high-caster 3+ and non-siezed cames if you are going for the Tacomaworld Special™: 285 E-rated K02's on a maxed out lift. Dont make them guess with how your UCAs work.

hes gunna need all the help he can get. and it will be cheaper for you.

Not necessarily. UCA will help you achieve full extension, especially if your coilover is extended and will help you achieve desired alignment specs.

Those are like the Moog ones and the washer adjustment plate will round out on your 2nd alignment from majority of the reviews I've read.

Theyre not reliable. The OEM are much better

I have those or similar and did UCA to be safe. It also helped with alignment so I can fit my 285 without cab mount chop
