Pic of short side facing front of car. The bracket on the new leafs rests on the over load, doesn't look right, cut it? I cut off one of the stock brackets already.

Is that the Headstrong 3-leaf AAL kit?

I only asked because the Headstrong was designed to not use the overload leaf (although I've heard of folks leaving it in). I'm not suspensions intelligent but I don't think the overload leaf is serving any purpose as it except for being a glorified spacer at this point. I would remove the overload myself. If you're looking for the extra height I'd get a taller AAL, or a new leaf pack.

But I'm sure someone else with more experience will chime in, I don't see it as a benefit and definitely wouldn't cut the brackets off. Just my 0.01$ (couldn't afford 0.02$)

Gotcha. I mean I've definitely read a lot of people keep them in if you have some weight. Between fiberglass shelll, sleeping platform, gear I usually am around 300-500 pounds in the bed. A new leaf pack would be better for sure but obviously more $. Honestly the truck drive fine right now, no vibes, doesn't feel harsh. So no huge rush to correct it, but it definitely doesn't look right so figured I'd ask so I can correct next weekend or something.

no problems. The rear does feel a bit stiff though. I also have E load tires which don't help the stiffness.
