Do I need to jack or lift my truck for a trd cat back install?

    Got the old one out can seem to get the new one in over the rear axle

    Jack it up a bit and put the exhaust in by going from rear to front

    Yup. You're basically going to feed the front part of the exhaust over the axle first that way you won't have to fight the end of the exhaust

    Probably need to jack it up some more. That's the easiest way. I was struggling when I was putting my stock exhaust back on for like an hour or so then I did it that way and it took like 10-20 minutes. Oh you could try lowering your spare tire as well so you have more room

    That's about it. Having a second person helps too because of how awkward the exhaust is. You should be good to go :thumbsup:

    It's a pain in the ass. I had a buddy help me mainly to keep the pipe from hitting/pulling the brake line

    All the usual diesel truck mods- fuel system upgrade, programmer, CAI, intake manifold, 60MM stealth turbo
    Been a few years since I did mine on my 09 but I do know that I didn’t jack it up at all but can’t say for sure if I did or didn’t lower the spare. Good luck though.
