Do I need UCAs and if so what do you recommend?

IMO I had SPC’s for a while. Balljoint wear as stated above also axis issue. Switched to Bilstein UCA’s fixed ball joint haven’t looked back.

You only need UCAs if your tires rub. If not, keep it as oem as possible.

If you consider 33.1" pizza cutters, you will not need UCAs, cab mount chop, or have any rubbing issues. This goes for lifted, or non-lifted Tacoma's.

You could go 255/85/16 or the more popular 255/80/17 tire selection size.

I was seriously considering JBAs but I have 255/85r16 tires on and their website says these tires will but the UCAs unless I had aftermarket wheels with a different off set. Now I don't know what to go for honestly. Value for my money is what I'm after more so than looks or super adjustability. Although I'm not even sure if I need UCAs. I'm on a 2" lift but the aho that did the install and alignment left the toe a bit in the negative and when I'm driving on the freeway, the truck doesn't like to stay in a straight line. It'll wander off to one side and I've read aftermarket UCAs can dial in the steering and improve handling or whatever.

I don’t think mine met their recommend specs. But she’s been fine, no issues. (285/70/17, -12 offset, 17x9)

I went w the OME UCA’s, The 2.5” lift from Mudify has been great! Just running 265/75-16’s on my stock OR wheels and it handles awesome off road and hwy.
Driveway install was pretty hard tho, Had a good buddy help me out. Took us a full day, UCA’s are not user friendly to take off stock ones, What a pain w the huge long bolt to remove and no room to get it out!!
