Do I need UCAs?

    -285 x 75 x R17
    -2.5-3” rancho lift struts
    -2” coil spacer pucks
    -2” wheel spacers


    My UCAs are stock and are nearly touching the springs, as well as binding the lower ball joints slightly. My question or questions are. Would after market UCAs fix this or help? Or do I need to downsize tires and remove the coil spacer?

    Also, removing spacers ALWAYS helps!

    So downsize tires and remove the spacers? How small do I need to go to keep minimal rubbing?

    I’m I understanding you have 2.5-3” of lift from the coil overs plus an additional 2” from the spacer? If so you have way overextended the front suspension you will have zero down travel. Remove the spacers and go to at least a 285/70 and you still may need ucas and to trim.

    That’s a lot of lift

    like they said, remove the pucks.

    probably still need to trim with 285’s


    I’d go 255’s if it was me

    10-4 we gonna try tires first. Then if it’s stay way out we will do UCAs also.

    Wanting the most tire I can squeeze under it. I don’t do any serious mud riding or hard trail type stuff. I’ll occasionally go done a gas line with some holes and ruts and don’t want to bottom out non stop. Also a small amount of rubbing is fine at full turn I just don’t want it rubbing at half or 3/4 turn if that makes sense.

    What size wheel are you running? Width/offset?

    No offset stock 17s and the guy I got it from is running 1.5 spacers

    The factory wheels have a + offset. The 2” spacer is basically a -48 so knowing what the offset on the factory wheel you have , you can determine the poke you’ll end up with and change of the scrub radius which is a big factor on tire rub.
