do not use hagerty ins.

So I go through all the hoops of pics, documentation for my M923 bobber for hagerty auto ins, they ask if kept in driveway garage etc, ask for driving info as well as car driven daily for both me and my wife. I then have to give them credit card info for billing, no problem etc.... today I get email that before starting service they need more info, call them and they say in md I have to keep it in garage to have their service ok no problem I have building large enough if clear out some stuff, they then say oh well we still cant give you collector insurance because you have another vehicle in household that is over 20 years old!! I asked lady on phone straight out if this was correct that they cannot insure my truck because my wifes car is a 1990 and she said yes the car would have to replaced with a newer model year or I would have to carry collector insurance on it and my wife would have to have another daily driver before they would issue insurance, they also would not issue insurance if she didnt have a daily driver as that would point to her planning to use my truck as DD.

WHAT BUNCH OF SELF IMPORTANT BASTARDS WOULD TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED TO BUY A NEWER CAR TO DRIVE EVERYDAY OR YOU CANT USE THEIR SERVICE.
