@CS_AR :notsure: i tried to re-wrap the battery terminal, was pulling the tape hard stretch and overlapping it, but then i checked it in a few hours and it all came undone
does humidity not work well on this, it was rather rancid here today, about 79% RH
si idk why it did not stick

the black electrical that was onit for so long just decided to start unraveling recently

Looks like it wasn't stretched out enough. Stretch it out like the guy in this video.

Almost looks like you left the plastic protective coating on it that you need to peel off.

Honestly just take the terminal apart and go get a small length of 3:1 heat shrink.

Before you attempted, did you get a chance to see the 'how to' video that CS_AR posted in post #2?

i got down under to take a peek at the fan shroud to see what needs to be undone down low
but then i saw the driver side front suspension wheel area needed a good dosing of the woolWax, so i burned through half a can on that instead

Cool, yeah the video made it look pretty straightforward. So I was hoping you'd see the video and notice something you maybe hadn't done and need to or vice versa.
    Cool, good to hear :D

a dropped one and a high one
CRC makes some red shit that you spray on the terminals and it freezes them in time from corrosion.

Doesn't matter about the blue line being in or out. Just need to stretch the tape out and then wrap it. I usually cut strips that are 8 to 10 inches. Peel off the backing, then start stretching the tape as I wrap. The stretched tape binds to itself. Once wrapped, the tape bonds to itself and form an airtight seal. It cannot be unwrapped.

I removed the old harness wrap, cleaned the wiring, and then rewapped the harness in it using F4 in black.

I'd like to add, heat shrink tube with adhesive on the inside (refereed to marine heat shrink?).
