It's more American to by a Toyota then it is to by a Chevy, Dodge or Ford. There ain't nothing American about companies run by unions and that are supported by tax payers money.

IMO it's more American to buy from a company that is run privately and builds high quality products for it's customers. Free market companies always provide and better quality products for their customers. :D

The only American company i would consider buying from anymore is Ford and that's only because they fixed their issues the right way. Now they're building much better quality vehicles. That's right from the mouth of a former Chevy fanboy!:D

I get crap all the time from people. One guy I work with makes fun of it almost every time he sees me. I find it funny though, he drives a 2005 Ford F-150 4x2 longbed.

The only person that I haven't gotten something along the lines of "nice truck" is one of my buddies who drives a 6 inch lifted Dodge Ram Double Cab 4x4 diesel. Who while never saying nice truck means it only in a joking manner because he knows how much I like his truck.

Raptor frames. That is all. I too used to like chevy's then I drove my friends '02 and fell in love. His is just like mine except a different color outside, a year younger, and I don't have a stock radio. That and the fact that my previous vehicle was a Chevy S10 that blew 3 motors over the course of 4 years, and was in the shop every 3-4 months. I've sworn off just about all "American" cars from my buy list. I do like what Ford is doing now a days, they are really stepping up to the plate and building higher quality stuff.

I tell them my "import" is built in America by American workers.

Their "domestic" is built in Canada or Mexico by other-than-American workers.

I haven't sworn off all American cars and trucks. I kinda go on a case by basis when i'm looking for vehicles. I pick the best vehicle in the particular class that i'm looking at buying a car in. Thats why when i was looking for a compact truck i went with Toyota. It's the best. :D

It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
Ya but then I run the trails like it's nothing, and there full sized Dmax can't even fit on the trails without some trail damage LULZ.

700hp ain't nothin if you can't use it on the trail!

I had my first run in with this yesterday when a dodge hit the gas going past me the other direction so his engine would roar.

Ever since having my cobra i have loved seeing cars hit the gas and get super loud for 5 to 10 seconds and their car/truck has only accellerated 8mph. lmao every time.

Fuck that guy. I love my truck and wouldn't trade it for anything. I got shit for when Toyota was having the acceleration problems, but that was just stupid. I will drive a Tacoma for life seeing how the first one saved mine.

REP +++++ The best rant ive heard in a long time. Finally somebody comes out and says it. The USA needs to give large tax benifits to home grown manufactures. Everybody has no clue how to do anything so they send it to China. I looked every where in the US to find a rubber band manufacturer, after sending numerous email and calls not 1 got back to me. Where else do I have to go. Everyone is a employee, there need to be more people starting business and inovating. Its what America used to be great at. :oldglory:

Everyone that has seen my truck is envious. I get as much attention driving my Tacoma as i do my vette.
