What I like about Canada is that most people support the import brands versus shitty American vehicles like Ford and Dodge :)

When people tell me to keep my money in America, I tell them to write their Congressman and tell them to keep my ass in America and my money will stay here. I bet if you pulled up in a 740i or a 500SL your boss would give you a dedicated parking spot. Do some donuts in the parking lot and when he comes out to bitch at you tell him your gas pedal stuck.

I've gotten into a scuffle over this... A man well into his 50's came up to me while i was pouring gas and asked me how long it took me to build my truck..I said absolutely nothing to him...following that remark he pulled his eyes back(making fun of my eyes..because im asian) and stuck his tongue at me, and at that point i cocked my arm back and gave his ass a beating he will never forget. He's still trying to press charges on me for it...

first thing a friend of mine said when he saw my truck was "Why didn't you get a ford or chevy?" I asked him how many '01 fords or chevy's were out on the road still.

"buy american" says the uneducated man wearing imported shoes, and clothes who goes home and watches the Toyota news beatdown on his imported flat screen television. there's no such thing as a domestic vehicle nowdays. they don't realize it, but they are actually saying "buy a UAW produced truck". no thanks...i've had "american" vehicles in the past.

I agree , in our situation there is no pressure to be ' patriotic ' and 'Buy American ' , so most people just choose the best truck for their needs , and you wouldn't beleive how many tacomas there are in my area .

    Toyota FTW !

He is a sissy and if anything he should be complimenting your good decision making skills. Its a very reliable vehicle, it out lasts 99% of other trucks and in general is all around bad ass. plus the resale value is through the roof. He's a dweeb, Im from Detroit and all my boys out there give me crap cause i didnt buy from an American Auto Company. I just laugh as I pass them at the gas station out of gas and broken down.

I drove a Chevy for my first truck and now that I have a Tacoma my "friends" give me shit such as "rice burner" , "TURD" for TRD, The gas pedal even though that has nothing to do with my truck and on and on. It get's old but I have to remind them who has the nicest truck. :D
