Update> Its been about a year now since I got my Tacoma and just the other day a guy I work with traded in his F150 for a Tacoma! Lol now there are two of them in the lot. The funny part is its exactly like mine just a year newer. Same color same sport package. Now my boss is really bummin. Lol. Slowly I will convince everyone at work to buy one and we will take over!

Isn't it great to be american!! the free speech and free press clauses in the constitutions 1st ammnd. pretty much says it all. You can tell your boss to fuck off because he likes crappy trucks and he at the same time can vent his distaste in your choice of vehicles as well. Cool eh!

Good to see you a have some Taco company at work now!

You might point him to the news stories about GM having to close plants because they can't get parts from... JAPAN !!! LOL... you might have to call the medics after he hears that.

WOW...thats a horrible boss. He thinks about what his customers will think instead of his own employees. I would get there early and park my truck right in the front for everyone to see. He cant fire you for having a Toyota.

Yep I get crap all the time, my friend at work is a dodge freak and always calls my tacoma a pussy truck. It doesn't bother me one bit because I chose this truck for specific reasons and I couldn't be happier. For a small truck its hella capable and it does everything I need it to do.

Test drove a Colorado before I bought the Taco. What a friggin POS, and I'm not a Chevy hater either as my previous vehicle was one (Lumina). A guy I know has one and it is always kept in his garage because the roof leaks lol, has since he bought it new and they can't fix it. Guy loves my Tacoma too.

As far as ppl giving me crap about the Tacoma, one guy I worked with has. Said why did you get that and not a "real" truck? I laughed at him and said dude you drive a Hyundai Santa Fe. Another coworker who overheard this burst out laughing.

    Winning...

Sure can. Unless you're under a contract or in a union, it's At-Will employment. That means your boss can fire you at any time for any or no reason.

the only reason i get crap something is not because its not a "big three" but rather because it is a non-jeep. i've been driving jeeps for almost a decade so i've met some pretty proud jeep owners lol

I buy what's good. There is not one auto maker out there that can compete with a mid size truck
Like the Tacoma. Ford has the sports Trac, which is already discontinued. Then you have the
POS Chevy Colorado, GMC canyon I wouldn't drive that thing if you gave it to me for free. I'm also a proud owner of a 1994 LT1 camaro. Japanese can't make a small block V8 like that.
IMHO. Just to make a point.

It's all about the quality. Would I buy just any truck with 100k miles on it? No, I wouldn't. I would, and just did, buy a Taco with 98k miles. No qualms. Not a rattle, squeak, or discernible defect. Sure, I love to support my country, but until American autos can measure up (I believe they used to), I won't buy one. Don't even get me started on that GM mess.....
