Do seat covers interfere with airbags?

Will putting a generic (walmart) seat cover interfere with the side airbags?

I've got a 2010 Tacoma standard cab. It looked to me like the side airbags deploy out of the side of the bench seat, so I'm a little concerned a seat cover will cause problems with airbag deployment.

they make seatcovers especially for seats with airbags,they have a slit in the sides of them so they dont interfere with airbag deployment. ive been on sites where when you order it asks if you have airbags.

 

Some covers are made with a "slit" in the side. You need to make sure that if you have seat air bags that your covers allow them to deploy. My Wet Okles were made for side air bags .... in the pictures you can barely see the overlap.
