    Oh look, another mod....
I had my Tacoma waxed/detailed on Monday (now it shines better than when I drove it off the showroom floor). I was stopped at a traffic light near my house when a truck pulled up beside me, the guy rolled down his window and yelled out "Dude, your truck looks bad-ass!"

I get complimented a lot, I think it's because there aren't too many VooDoo blue's rolling around the DFW Metroplex. My truck seems to really stand out.

Nice ride! I have the same thing in an '18. Bunch of mods on it and the grey softopper that I rotate out with the tonneau and open bed.

    My fourth red Tacoma
The big compliment time period was when I bought new a 4x4 2005 Tacoma in the nice impulse red just after the model first came out. I was one of the first in my area to have the new major redesign/mid size Tacoma. Plus mine was a V6 6 speed manual. Very nice truck and way ahead of the other brands at the time.

Coming from the Jeep world for the past decade the new Tacoma feels massive inside (comparitvely speaking) and a whole lot more sophisticated and mean looking in and out.
100% agreed they are by far the best looking truck on the market IMHO. Love the front end and will love it even more so with the new faux TRD Pro grill.

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
Not outright. But my good friend did just buy one, a 22 Off Road in that gorgeous dark blue color. So I guess that's a compliment, right? ‍♂️

Got one the other day on the color. People love army green, and I think the Trail Edition looks so unique even though it's fully "stock" it doesn't appear stock.
