Hey folk. Getting ready to install new wheels. Got a good deal on tires but not sure about the size. They are 255/65 17....Old tires were 245/75 16...made the mistake of looking at them side by side. i know the 16's have a bigger side wall but can't visualize what they will look like on truck from the side. Anybody got some pics of 255/65 17 on their truck with stock suspension w/ air dam. Just hoping I won't regret after installing. Crazy thing is I just found decent deal on 265/70 17. Not sure if I want to go thru the hassle of returning the others I just picked up.

Any of you running the 265/70 17 with stock suspension did you have any rubbing or have to take off air dam?

I'm running 265/70/17 KO2's. Stock suspension SR5 V6 4WD. No rubbing except on the Weather tech mud guards at full lock. Not a big deal. Had to go with the WT guards because I have the "No Flares" SR5, and Toyota doesn't make guards for the truck.

The truck I am upgrading is a 2017 SR DC 4wd. I wouldn't think suspension height would be different because it is an SR model.

Went ahead and ordered the 265/70 17. May as well get what ya want the first time....and they were cheaper than the smaller tire I got.
