I've looked through my Haynes Repair Manual, there is no mention of a fuel filtre. Is it listed under another name?
Is there some device that acts as a filtre for the gas?
I used to carry a couple of spare fuel line filtres for my old Ford pu. Every now and then you'd get some dirty and or water polluted gas which would clog up the filtre and stop gas from getting to the carb. Replace it with a new filtre and you'd be on your way.
I don't want to get into a situation where my Taco dies because of dirty gas and I don't have a clue on how to correct the situation.
    Thanks in advance.

    From Toyota's website

    For 2nd gens.
The fuel filter is typically not a scheduled maintenance item and only requires replacement if necessary. Please consult with your local dealer for additional information concerning fuel filter maintenance. I had a 2005 Tacoma with 173,500 miles & never had the filter replaced & no fuel issues.

I know , I bust these clown's balls all the time for spelling shit wrong like color , flavor , liter

    It's colour , flavour , litre

But it's filter unless you are in the Quebec , then it's still filter

Ah, but it does. Even when you speak Canadian. The world has been trying for years to tell you guys that your spelling is fucked up.

No....you dont. You can think you do....but youre wrong. What you speak, is "Canadian". You took the English language, and killed it with your over use of the letter "u", and reversal of the placement of the letter "e". You guys are worse than New Yorks'ers....
