There’s a crappy old Chevy I see occasionally on my way to work running dual stacks. It’s gas too. I’ll try to get a pic.

The quick segway from trucks to dicks. You’ll fit in around here.

To be fair, I don’t have stacks but still have a tiny dick. It happens to the best of us.

that’s great. Honestly man when I was a kid I was OBSESSED with big rigs but peterbilt hasn’t made a decent enough hybrid for a DD, so I tried to scale down in high school to a dually but now I have 5 kids and a wife and my truck takes everything I can throw at it but I still want at least A peice of that love I had as a kid obnoxious or not. That’s my only thing honestly, think it looks sick and more importantly CAN IT BE DONE cost be damned is it possible

This'll be one of the few times I'll say:

Install a set of falsies. Faux stacks won't start fires or thrash your engine from a rainwater plug. This is one of those times where it's better to go fake than real.

Plus you can pipe false stacks into a theater grade fog machine for extra fun effects. Color match the fog to your truck. Add a pleasant cotton candy scent to it. Or maybe you want to add a capful of bug repellent and spray the neighborhood for mosquitos, so they at least have a valid function. Lots of ways to go with falsies.

When did a tacoma become a peterbilt? Or cat d8? Why just why? I think a nice 12 inch one right in the center of the bed would be amazing. Probably look like a tug boat.

    That’s all for me!

Putting a stack on a tacoma reminds me when I put a thrush pipe on my first car, of course it was just as deserving being the rocket that it was, a 1970 slant 6 Valiant.

composites will burn/char, but generally melt about as good as wood does, as the main ingredient in any composite structure is a mult-component resin(think jb weld, but more technical) to affix woven material into a specific shape.

still not a good idea to subject a composite structure to a constant heating/cooling cycle outside it's typical design limits, but i disagree that the material will melt.

we haven’t really tested the bed material.

In my giant shop we’ve seen 2 damaged/perforated. It’s crazy how durable it is. Never rusts, easy to slide and near indestructible. Now the tundra has it.

if you're looking for blind support to whatever hairbrained idea pops into anyone's head, facebook groups are the other way.

forums are more technical for a reason. but they're also exist for a lot of people to have fun. if you can't take some fun at your expense, it's also not likely to go well for you here either. you asked a question, inferring you wanted people's opinion on an idea you had. people had a negative reaction. that's still an answer to your question, regardless of if it was what you desired or not.

    Stacks are old school.

If you go with @Rock Lobster s suggestion on fake stacks (for safety), some faux woodgrain would fluff things up too!

For you kids, this Little Red Express is a factory thing, not custom. From your friends at Dodge, late 70s.
