i can tell you must work for a steel fabricating shop or something like that? that from bumper is serious, very strong design. i wanted to keep my pretty simple so it wouldnt stand out TOO much on the truck but now im thinkin i shoulda spent more time drawing it up lol.

hey what did it take for you to fit those 35's on there? did the camburg uca's allow you enough caster to fit the tires on without rubbing on the cab? my 33's rubbed on the cab until i notched it out with the grinder

And yet you've got stock fenders. Which means you either limit your bump travel something fierce, or you don't really "use" your LT. Otherwise you'd have some wicked gouges in your tires.

haha way a head of you man!! bumping a L/T kit early is just ridiculous, I mean i didn't spend that money just to have stock travel haha, i cut my fenders to get the full travel when i originally cycled my kit kinda like the rock rig guys do, put a lil trim over the cut to make it look ok. but obviously fiberglass front and rear will be needed to build my rig the way i plan to.

wow man youre a genious lol i never thought about using the CV's out of a tundra. did you use the control arms as well? do you think that would even be possible? if so it would give my truck a wider trac width correct? that would be awesome if i could just bolt all the tundra components onto my tacoma with my FOX shocks the wider trac width would definitely = more travel

the lcas and ucas for the tundra and the tacos are the same size but the distance from the spindle to the front diff is where the track width is different, and also why the Cv shafts are different lengths but you can modify any cv joint to allow for more travel, i originally got the idea from " dirtys 4runner", on desert rangers he claims to have gotten about 14-14.5 out of kit rated to 12 in if i remember right. when i cycled mine i was in the nighbor hood of about 14, i am hoping to get a lil more once i find a pair of fiber glass fenders. i would guess you could get 10-maybe 11 out of stock parts with this mod though. save a lot of money you would spend on " custom " cv's

Any 3.5" LT kit can use Tundra axles with first gen tacomas/3rd gen runners. Tundra Axles are 3.5625" longer than tacoma axles and have the same inner/outer spline count. That's the whole reason why Burg and TC sell them.

I'm cycling almost 14.5" after I drilled a couple holes in the fender aprons to let the UCA bolt travel farther

yea wider trac width and travel is exactly why i asked that question. so really i can bolt the tundra uca's and lca's and CV's up to my tacoma? (ofcourse i will need to do my tie-rods and brakelines etc.)
