Back in the day I was the puking drunk guy and would get rides from family members and friends. Now, I will call you an uber but yeah. Fuck all that! My wife has a friend who got divorced 5 years ago or so. She lives three doors down from us. Just after she and her husband separated she rode to the party with us. She got hammered and when it was time to leave I had called her an uber. My wife was like "are you serious". I was like yeah. I am not dealing with all that! I would never consider inserting myself into a situation with most of the people I know let alone a stranger these days.

 

Makes it stronger - iirc it is cheaper to produce and acquire and hooks people quicker too.

I didn't even like giving people rides after they had been in an accident and had their car towed. Most of the time it was just off of the highway, I need the whole cab to work especially in a wrecker.
