Hello all... I have a 2005 Double cab short bed 4x4 with 884x's up front on 5100's on the lowest setting. I also have LR uca's in the front and 5100's in the rear with the Icon progressive leaf pack in the rear without the overload spring and the new tsb leaf pack (with new frame)

My center of hub measurement to the bottom of the fender is 22.5 inches. Seems high to me cause i believe before the lift I was at 20 inches... The spring perch is on correctly and the 5100's are definitely on the lowest setting.

Seems like I got 2.5 inches when i was supposed to get 1.75 to 2 inches with my dcsb 4x4.

What are your measurements with 884's or 884x's? Could the 884x's give a little more lift after they were changed cause of sagging issues? Thanks

they might need time to settle. I installed 885s on my prerunner and it's almost too high

885's gave me 23" hub to fender on my third gen. I was expecting 22. Mine have only been on a couple of weeks but haven't sagged yet.

mine have been on about 2k miles and settled almost half an inch. About 5 miles of rutted, rugged trails. I'm sitting just under 3 inches of lift.

My hub to fender in the rear with icon progressive leaf pack and an empty bed is 23 inches, so i only have 1/2 an inch of rake. Im tempted to take out the 884's ans put in the eibachs for 1.6 inches of lift. Just doesn't look right unloaded and really looks bad with my cap on...

anyone else? I seriously think i may have gotten mislabeled 884's... still at 2.5" a few hundred miles later. Although i do not put very many miles on my truck (less than 5k a year) how long do they take to settle cause right now im at 885 measurements? I have about a thousand miles on them at the moment.

Mine didn't settle for a few thousand miles.

I'd just hold off a bit and see. I don't see how they'd be mislabeled in manufacturing. Your lack of driving isn't helping settling.

I assume you've ruled out that they're installed correctly and the 5100s preload is actually at 0.

Everyone gets a different lift height to some extent. This is mostly due to the actual weight the springs are lifting. My access cab is loaded with tools and gear, both in the cab and bed. Add armor to that, and I'm way heavier than many DCLB Tacos. I'm at 23" with 885s and 1/4" spacer on both sides.

Without any extra weight you get maximum lift. Add to that the fact you drive very little, and you won't see much change in height for awhile. You need to cycle them to break them in faster.

I'm at the opposite end. I want my Dakars to settle about an inch - which isn't going to happen.

Makes sense, but i have nothing in the bed right now (which is weird cause im only getting. 75 drivers side and 1 inch passenger side lift in the rear with icon progressive aal) but the front is the same as anyone else stock without an aftermarket bumper.

Its like the front is lighter than most stock dc's and the rear is heavier with new springs from my frame replacement and an empty bed.

I only got 22.5" with my 885s on a 2014 DCSB, so these things are all different. Id let yours settle and it will be good.

I'll measure mine shortly. 884X with 1/4" top plate spacers.

Caveat is mine is the lightest DCSB 6 lug config so I'm getting more lift than others with the same setup.

Thanks, I have the 1/4spacer on the drivers side. What do you mean you have the lightest dcsb config (prerunner)?

Access cab here so I'm not sure if this helps but 2011, 4.0 auto, 4 wheel drive, 884/5100 on zero and I'm at 22 3/4". I'm curious as to why you left the overload out. I went with a single AAL and left in my overload which has me at 24.5 in the rear. Is the overload not recommended with the progressive AAL?

i have the progressive icon 3 leaf aal and new 3+1 springs from my frame replacement. The new design progressive aal's dont allow for the overload to be used. The overload hits the pins and the brackets on the newly designed progressive add a leafs for some reason.

Not my truck but here's examples
