I have tried just about every brand out there over the years and to me it did not make much of a difference. Cheap blades perform just as well as expensive ones, and last about just as long also. We get a good amount of sunshine and also lots of rain here in Florida. I replace my blades just before summer every year, regardless of what brand name it is, so I can just as well go with the cheaper ones. They all last close to a year, with the last few months going through the dry season, so it does not matter much if they are not very efficient at that point.

Since the Rain-x premix fluid came out,,no need for anything else than Anco refill's.

I get 2+ years out of Anco's,,here in the PNW. Rain-x Premix is the key and deicing the shield if needed. Prestone spray can de-ice is a lighter formula than all the rest it seems and it's all I have used for many years. No Prestone?,,then I let it thaw on its own. Took me awhile and a few bucks to get to this combo,,but it works.

If your vehicle sets under a tree all the time,,you will go thru wiper blades. Tree sap on the glass is a instant blade killer. On hot days,,that sap spreads out,,then you have a big burnout patch for the rubber to drag across when it rains.

I stick with the factory blades and refills. All the others I tried didn't last as long, or didn't last long enough to be worth the extra expense.

Valeo 600. Nearly two years in the hot Florida sun and they are still good. They are kind of hard to find though. Bought mine off ebay.

    yep, also at wally world

anything you buy lasts about 6 months and needs replacing unless you like using blades until you cant see anymore.

no matter what they all say any wiper blade only works good for 6 months tops, even if you don't use it the sun dries it up by then.

now if you keep it in a garage all the time and out of the sun at work you might get a year out of them.

I buy the cheapest and get the walmart supertech blades for $4.95 and they do great and last me a good 5-6 months but I wouldn't recommend others buy the cheapest if they play in mud or in very dusty areas where the blades will get abused but buy the reasonably priced ones under $10 each instead if it will be "somewhat" mistreated, I don't think any blade lasts long if you regularly play in mud on weekends.

If you really want to kill your blades,,or just a durability test. Use the wash bucket window scrubber at the gas pumps. Ever seen someone using one to scrub the spilled gas off of the hoopty welfare car?. Think about that for a moment,,(basically washing your blades in gas,,every time).

Rain X yellow bottle will try to pool that petroleum,,,so that's probably the milky crap and fisheyes you guys see sometimes. That or it was applied to thick. Your better off rubbing a cut potato on the glass if it is applied heavy.

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
Triple Edge. Used to be available almost everywhere. I've only found online now. They're lifetime guarateed. Yes, pricey as blades go. My last set has about 100,000 miles and 6 years on them. Working fine.
