    The Rohm RG10!

I have about 15 of those in the store that I use to practice various gunsmithing tasks on

They're terrible and none of them currently work

    This is true!

The 3" 66 was my grail Smith.

As far as looks goes. I like my 3" 65-5 Lady Smith better. It's the exact same revolver, except it has fixed sights, mat finish and Lady Smith engraved in the side plate.

I polished my 65-5, and removed the Lady Smith from the side plate.

It was my car travel gun up until ~2000 when I started worrying about having to use it and it being confiscated as evidence never to be seen again. I started carrying plastic 9mms that I have no attachment to.

Sadly it doesn't get shot much anymore as I age and don't love loudenboomers as much as I used to. Bought a 4" barrel for it awhile ago which may find it's way on to it eventually.

    Damn man...don't swap the barrel on a 2.5" 19!

There are plenty of 4" 19's out there. If you just don't care for it anymore, I bet you could trade it for a 4" in a heart beat and have some cash in hand.

Charter Arms 44 Bulldog with a 2.5" barrel is a perfect truck gun. If it gets confiscated or you have to toss it in a lake...no worries.

I have a 1966 S&W model 19-2 , 4 in barrel and round grips. I’m the second owner, purchased it from the original owner 8 years ago. It still shoots 1in groups at 20 yards...it’s the perfect woods gun (IMO).

My favorite is my Ruger GP100 .357 4".

Hogue Fancy Hardwood grip and Fiber optic front sight. Zeroed for 135 grain .357 Hornady Critical Duty loads.

Nice Mod 15. Love Dan Wessons. I always wanted one as a kid reading about Bob Milek in G&A using a 744 for hunting. Finally traded for a 744 ~ 1986 and will never give it up.

Colt Trooper. Love these. So accurate, such a nice trigger. I have two.

I found one of these in a landfill one day and it was to far gone to be saved. It was a real sad sight to see. I still turned it over to the Sheriff dept.

Amazing. The one above was in a fire and has been restored. My first one I bought from an estate. Never shot other then a couple test shots. Bluing is perfect. And came with an unused short barrel, I think 2-3" as I recall - it's all wrapped and preserved.

So was it a bad design or bad parts or both ?

No. I have no use when I have a butter smooth triggered Walther PPQ at my disposal. However I can appreciate a fondness for the older S&W model 36 Chief's Special.
