I'll eventually find one. I might not even fool with it. Have other carry guns. Has the all the paperwork and original box and tools.

Take it out and shoot it. I've had mine since around 1981, great pistol, enjoy it.

you mount a decent scope on this gun with a 6 or 8 inch barrel and any deer inside 50 yards is done for.

So far…. Added fog lights swapped halogens to led’s, interior lights to led’s, bed lights added, led/strobe brake lights, trying to figure out the right leds for turn signals.

I have two Dan Wesson pistols. 7” barrel .357 and an 8” barrel .44. Don’t have any other barrels or the tool for either. Would love to pick up one of the “Pistol Pack’s” for either but they sell for ridiculous money. I’ve only got around $1k in both of mine. Supposed to be super accurate when you set the barrel to cylinder gap with the tool, but never shot either of mine.

If you bought these brand new and have never shot them, they're worth a small fortune if you have the original box and paper work.
If they're not new unfired, then you need to take them out and shoot them.

    S&W 442
Have owned it about thirty years now. Was my backup gun when on duty, and was also my off-duty carry. Now is my EDC pistol and when not in that capacity sits on top of a table near the bed. I've fired countless rounds through it and it's always been reliable and accurate for the job it was designed for.

I got this one today, found it at the gun show this weekend. It's a S&W Model 520 .357 Magnum; one year production (1980) of 3000, originally a special order for NYSP, who cancelled the order after production had begun. S&W completed the order and sold them to the public. Think of it as a Model 28 with fixed sights. Only came in blue, and only with a 4" barrel.

few weeks ago I picked up a S&W 40-1 lemon squeezer, haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Always wanted a grip safety Smith.
