    Mostly dust and dirt.
Sooner or later people will figure out that only trucks from GM, Ford, and FCA are worth owning. Rock-solid reliability and decades of trouble free service.
No, seriously. Trucks from those fine companies are the only trucks worth your time.

Many of the problems that he talked about in the video have been resolved by now. Since I live in Arizona with 110+ heat in the summer I would like to know if the A/C fan kit he spoke of is installed on the 2021’s at the factory. I have not gone a summer yet. Does anyone know?

I have a 2016. Outside of a dead battery a couple months after owning it and crappy fitting headliner, I don’t have any issues yet at 50k miles.

Lot of these issues he talks about don’t actually get fixed . I have had a whistling noise at 48mph when feathering the throttle . Had the plugs put in on the control arm still same shit . My experience with these Toyota mechanics is they are completely clueless with how to fix things . They rely on Toyota to tell them how to proceed and compare problems by going out and test driving another vehicle . Rather than actually diagnosing the problem .This video points out stuff that can easily be searched here and the internet and doesn’t actually give any real solutions to the issues we experience with our trucks .

I had been wondering why my a/c was always piss poor in my truck last summer on super hot days...video explains why. As far as the rest of the stuff to look out for, i have none of that in my 2020.

Have a 17 with 70,000 miles with no issues other than a loud fuel pump which they are fixing.
Also have a 05 155,000 miles frame and rear leaves swapped by Toyota under recall.
    Both are great trucks

My 2018 would hunt for gears and the hood was starting to shake also. Did not get a tune, but would have, if I hadn't traded for a 2020 about 15 months later. No issues with the 2020 so far at 11k miles, though I think the hood might be starting to shake. Haven't looked hard at it yet...could be my imagination.

There's a few threads on here showing you the size plugs to use and where to put them.

Huh, first time I've seen this video. Surprised he didn't mention the A/C drain hose exiting right at the firewall in his frame rust section. Also interesting that 2018+ Toyota coats the inside of the frame with a wax coating, I don't recall reading about that in any of the frame rust threads on TW...makes me feel a bit better about my truck not rusting out a few years after I bought it lol.

One might argue that he is not very bright If he is a Toyota tech. If I work for Toyota, and I discourage people from buying them, then if enough people do that, I have no job. LOL. Joking.

They come with plugs already installed since 2017 so it's no longer an issue.

There is a TSB for it, if you do a TSB search on here you will find it.

Yes, but since he reports he's getting the "whistle" they may not have been installed for whatever reason or may have fallen out. Certainly wouldn't be the first time the factory missed something.

No issues on my 18 except for squeaky clutch TSB, TSS recall and fuel pump recall. No vibrations, weird noises etc. Absolutely love this taco, best vehicle I have ever owned.
