Just a bunch of old crap
Maybe a different thread title would have defined the subject a bit better. I read this expecting it to be a hood scoop bashing thread.

By the way, I love my sport hood and it was a preferred option.

English is my 2nd language, so I blame the wording on that :D

I like the looks... however I'm sure the extra drag and wind noise is a bummer. No reason for it to be functional now days... and it would create even more drag if it was... again, I love the looks, but don't think I'd ultimately choose it because of the downsides. But wouldn't be too bummed if mine had it...

so how do you feel about debadging, painting things black, shortty antennas?

those are all non funtional things that are for looks only. does that make them pointless and stupid? to each their own

Ah... maybe next time you shouldn't give the thread topic the title

"Do you just HATE your TRD Sport hood?"

Why not give it the title that is the actual topic and put it in the buy/sell/trade area... call it want to trade sport hoods, etc?

I chose local sub forum, because I was targeting local people, I don't want to ship the hood...lol

I guess chose provocative title to catch other peoples attention....

Stupid is a childish term to use. I and a lot of people bought the sport TRD because they liked the look. I was not looking for a functional scoop.
I used to own a 1967 GTO. It also had a nonfuncting hood scoop. Anyone wanting to have a classic GTO without the hood scoop might be cosidered stupid.

Hey, I don't hate my scoop but I might be tempted to take a look at your trade, IF I lived anywhere near, which I don't.
