I would keep mine in the garage, but mine's usually a mess from whatever project I've been working on, and when its not I keep the Jeep in there cause I'm too lazy to put the top back on.. Plus, last time I kept the Tacoma in the garage, mice invaded it...

Sounds like you have bigger (or smaller) problems than keeping your Tacoma in your garage my friend

Three car garage so most of the time it lives in the garage with the wife's car.
Lately due to remodeling & landscaping projects it's been in the driveway.
The single door is mine (extra deep) the double door is for the wife & my workshop.

Did you measure how much room you have now? Should be the easiest way to confirm/allay your fears. :D

Tacos don't belong on lifts, and if you pay attention to the cars its made for a lady, a Porsche and a lotus, not man cars

Would be nice, but seems like the Tacoma would hit the roof of my garage with just the factory bottle jack.

I'd love to have a garage where I could install a lift.

Just bought a house and the Tacoma and the Optima will be in the garage! The AZ heat and sun is ruthless!

My truck has been in a garage since day one. The garage in the last house sucked (too small), but it did at least protect the truck. The wife, however, was intimidated by the cramped entrance and interior.

We've since purchased a house with an oversized two-car garage (wider & deeper - same sq ft as a typical three-car garage). It's nice to have feet of space all around the truck. Heck, even the wife can park without hitting anything (yet).

The Taco stays on the floor level. One car can go below the lift, the other (less used) car above the lift. Might work for OP's situation.
