We searched long and hard for a metes & bounds property (1.2 acres) within the city limits (blocks from shopping - Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, etc) with no deed or neighborhood restrictions. This is in an older part of town with well-maintained southern-style (flowering magnolia & dogwood trees, etc) homes, many dating back five or more decades. This particular house was gutted, updated (electrical, plumbing, etc), and rebuilt (by the son of the original owners) about 15-years ago. The oversized garage was added at that time, replacing a smaller one.

My garage is my shop. I have a CNC mill, bridgeport mill, multiple welders, tube bender, saws, wood tools, etc. Way too much crap for any vehicle to fit.

    Vehicles belong outside :D

I get 40mph winds regularly where I'm at so yes it's garage kept. If I didn't my paint would be sandblasted to the sheet metal within a week.

Personally, I'm thrilled with the house. As I said, it was recently gutted and updated. Exterior is brick. Most of the wood framework (roof, walls, floor, etc) replaced. New insulation, interior walls (no lead-based paints before or now), ceilings, floors, doors, windows, and lighting throughout. New, up-to-code (inspected), wiring (circuit panel, etc), with plenty of outlets. New HVAC. New plumbing & fixtures (toilets, sinks, showers, touch-sensitive faucets, etc). New kitchen (counters, cabinets, appliances, etc). Huge game room (which I'm using as a combination woodworking shop & billiard room). Recent walkways, driveways, & patio. Seems little was overlooked. We're adding a deck & awning in the back, and a utility ramp in the garage. Beyond that, boubt I could do better myself. Indeed, this house is better than most of the new ones looked at - without the all-too-frequent neighborhood codes, covenants, and restrictions (CC&Rs).

I am cleaning my garage this summer to make room for my taco!
There will not be another winter outside for my truck.
Its a little tough, with tools yard stuff, couchs, big screen tv, pool table, etc. U get the idea.

Love the 993. I have a 997 and am starting to look at getting into a air cooled.

To the op, my '13 taco gets the driveway unfortunately.

Mine will always be in the garage (not because it's only few hours old mind you, just got it today), because my Sienna wont fit in there and I only have enough driveway to fit 1 car. Garage space is in demand, all my tools are there, shelves everywhere, whole ceiling got stuff hanging from it too. When I get out of my taco I have to exhale to slip past the door. 3-5 inches of space in front and back when parked. I swear I almost had a heart attack when I was closing garage door tonight.
It was so much easier when I parked the Ranger in there instead...

8 year old Tacoma. Always gets put to bed in the garage. Paint finish is still in great condition.
