If it bothers you so much, get a cover.

Germany isn't known for spacious garages.

LOL. Been there, done that. In our last garage (in Heidelberg), even the BMW 5-series was a tight squeeze. That garage was not tall enough for a Tacoma.

Why don't you just fork over the $200 and get one of those portable garage / shelters and put the Mustang in it? If the Mustang's paint is already showing signs of aging, then there is no reversing that and it will in fact be the next car on your list to get re-painted. You just spent a ton of money on your new Taco. Keep it in the garage. The sun can AND WILL fade the paint and may even your interior. It won't happen right away, but the exposure will sink in soon enough. Don't be a fool, keep your new taco inside.

It is a pole barn with a concrete floor.... not conventional framing. I put in 4 sky light panels in the roof. So many times natural light is much better than artificial light...and it is free - even on cloudy days.

Metal costs $5200, concrete $4100, PT lumber and trusses (found a shop that made them the wrong size) $2100. Roll up drum doors $550. Elect panel and wiring $300 Friends labor $0 But it did cost me $300 in steaks and beer. $12,500 invested.... it is 48x36 floor space 1728 sqft = $7.25 per sq ft cost of materials. Double that will give you close to what it would cost if you subbed it out ($14.50 s/f)... I was quoted $25,000 from 2 contractors for the same building.

Note.... Toyota trucks, tools, etc. are additional.

In the process of moving into a new condo with a single-car garage. I've got about a foot on each side and a foot of clearance in the front. Good thing I have a short bed! Pics later.

Only if the forecast calls for inclement weather.
The bikes and the girlfriend's car spend their time in the garage, but I dedicated enough of my parking spot to a workshop that it's a pain to get the truck in there too (it was a worthwhile trade, really, in my opinion).
But, if the forecast calls for hail, sleet, or snow then I'll go to the trouble of parking it in the garage for its protection.

Always. Keep the 2013 4Runner and my 2011 Tacoma in the garage. Killing me right now since we are doing some remodeling and the garage is full....I know first world problems

Luckily my roommate has a small enough car, and I've got the backup camera so I don't plow into the water heater. Total tolerance front to back is about 3 inches between the heater and the garage door. Oh and just enough space for my bike.

Measured the garage to make sure the truck would fit in it. Still tight. We have cabinets around the garage for storage.

I must have an odd garage. My truck is too tall to get in it with the off road lights on top.

I would probably sell my Taco to just buy a garage. In this Economy... if you are independent, you either afford a Taco....or a garage...not often both.

I have a heated garage which is great in Mn. especially when it gets 20 below zero. However they are not so great for preventing rust, especially when a vehicle is known to have issues with rust through on the frame. I keep the Tacoma outside where it belongs same as all my rigs have been parked over the years when ever I have lived in the North. But I do let the girlfriend park her Subaru in the garage. The dog I let stay inside but not parked on the bed or furniture :)
