You must...my configuration is about that and mine fits. Is it an older house? Friend has a house built in 1980s that his stock Tundra won't fit in garage because it's too tall.

Had to choose between Access Cab or DCSB - bed length won out; grandkids are the only one's that sit in the back anyway...they're still small for a few years yet. ;) I'm gonna have to extend the garage before the next truck purchase. :D

Sadly no, the garage isn't big enough to fit 3 quads, a golf cart, a bunch of junk, and a car in it.
I'd love to at least build a shelter for my truck, but i want it to look pro and and be permanent, but we're selling the house in a year or less and i can't take on a project like that with college.

I was surprised to learn they used to build them shorter. I thought my buddy was BSing me when he said his Tundra was too tall for his garage.

Corpsman I see from your avi. Thank you for your service!

I sold my FJ40 last summer so now mine has garage space all the time. ALong with my wife's Venza, my BMW, and my Capri. My old 89 Toyota plow/yard truck is under the deck. When we built our house I had a second workshop garage dug out at basement level that's directly underneath the regular 2 car garage up top. Only has 1 door on the lower garage but I back the Capri into the corner. Works pretty slick. This is what it looked like a few years back when I had the Capri torn apart and the FJ40 in there.

I miss that FJ40. But I never drove it and wouldn't have my current Tacoma unless I had sold it.

But yes, I keep mine in the garage. The usable space front to back in the garage at my apartment is only 19 feet and the truck .. dual cab, long bed ... is 18 feet 6 inches long. It also only clears the door by about 6 inches. I have only had the truck 2 weeks and due to this I have the Backup Camera down to a science.

The garage is for the motor and pedal bikes and kayak gear. The Taco sits in the driveway
even in -40 winters, starts every time. Wish i had room in my garage it sucks driving to work in a cold vehicle.

Car starter ... let it run for 10 minutes before you open the garage door. Makes a WORLD of difference after you start moving.

the 2012 Tacoma and my 2010 legacy (soon to be 2014 4Runner LE) are garage queens.

during our winters (-20F or worse) and wind and snow, I don't want to deal with all the snow removal of a vehicle sitting outside as you can see from the vehicles from the neighbor across the street.

Nope...would be nice. Our 2-car garage is taken up by my wife's '08 Rav4 and a utility trailer sporting my Yamaha Big Bear, not to mention my son's Arctic Cat, tools, and other 'garage stuff.'

Maybe you should do an add-on build a small garage..? so you can fit all three.. My parents cars both go in the garage, and I'm stuck in the shit.. outside, but whenever I get the chance my trucks in there haha!!

no one ever gets use to -20 to -40 weather :)

but the flip side, once spring comes around and it hits the 30's, your like man it hot outside and your running around in t-shirts and shorts.

the warden has a remote start on her Tacoma but since I have heated seats, I just put mine on high and go. once the 2014 4runner LE gets here, it will have heated seats also so no biggie.

if it was outside, I would make sure they have block heaters on them to ease the startup.
