Just wondering if anyone might have known the previous owner to find out what kind of accident it had been in. (?)

Would guess a pretty damn bad accident to total a $17k’ish clean title truck

    Too few to list.
If you want a clean 2nd Gen, expand your search and fly out and drive back if you have to.

I’m gonna guess you don’t buy cars often... And I’m gonna help you out a little.

You could buy a 2012-15 with a 100k miles for around 20K with a who-knows-what interest rate. Or you can buy a new one with no miles for around 30k with a good interest rate. No bank will finance a salvage/rebuilt title FYI. Boerne Toyota looks like they got some deals on DCSB 4x4 SR5s. Don’t bother asking or haggling over the phone/email. You’re best bet is to go in person and negotiate. Call them and tell em you’re coming in also helps to show you’re serious, don’t just show up.

Don’t fall/pay attention to any miscellaneous numbers they’ll throw at you (TTL, doc fee, convenience fee, etc). What you want is the TOTAL OUT THE DOOR price.
