fun stuff coming soon! New battery, radiator and CV joints and axles. Added some Rancho RS5000 shocks.
well some dogs dont jump so theyre fine...i dont agree with long highway trips though, only if you have to go an exit or two up imo. my dane preferred the bed to the cab (he had more room back there)

NO DOG is fine loose in the bed of a truck!!!! Dogs become projectiles when you have to stop short or any number of reasons, even hitting a pot hole or bump. NO highway trip is safe and letting your dog jump out once is a stupid idea. Your dog might have been lucky and not broken any bones, but not all dogs would be so lucky to not get seriously injured.

Sammie rides in the cab, like I said. Only way I'd do the bed is with an airline crate tied down - I'd be OK with that (if it wasn't too hot or cold outside) if I needed cab space.

mine rides in the cab 90% of the time. if he's dripping wet or my cab is full of people from boating or whatnot i'll put himin the bed. i usually either leash him to something in there or run the leash through the back window into the cab. i'm not too worried about him jumpin out though since half the time he climbs halfway through the window into the cab and gets stuck. 90lb choco lab does not fit through window...

    Just bought it!
I specifically bought this truck because of how much room was in the back seat for the dogs. I'll be surprised if a human ever even ends up back there haha. I debated a normal 4 door but I wanted a 6 foot bed, and I live in the city so I didn't want something huge.

The only way I'd ever let me dogs in the bed is if I had a cap and some kind of mat/rug for some traction. Like my dogs too much to let them deal with how much it would hurt to get a bug in the eye at 50mph. As smart as they are, they don't quite grasp physics.
