Hi, I have a chance to buy a BedRug for my DCSB and I can get it for $100 used. I'd be using it under my shell which is carpeted also. If you have a BedRug, can you tell me what the biggest advantages/likes are for it? I know that they look good and are supposed to be comfortable, but what else? Also, is $100 good for a used one in good shape?

I have a bedrug in my DCSB under my Leer canopy. 1 gave me a place to lay down one night while traveling and be able to stretch out a little (granted I am taller than the bed is long). 2, I had to transport a piece of glass, put it on the bedrug and never had to worry about it getting scratched or broken from sliding around. 3, makes a very good place for my girlfriends daughter to crawl around when we go to the park and are just sitting on the tailgate. As far as price, I dont know what they go for used, I got mine new.

I also have one with my Leer shell. Another nice feature is that if you sleep in the back, it's insulated so you don't lose as much heat through the plastic bed.

I had one in my last truck. I liked it. I felt comfortable putting items that I didn't want scratched on it.
