I just dumped a 2011 4Runner LTD for my 4 dr Pre Runner. It's night and day difference with the comfort of the seats. The Tacoma wins hands down.

I ended up hating that damn 4Runner, and seat comfort was one of the objections.

They do add comfort IMO. Look and fit great. I dont think they are any hotter than stock seats.

However, my truck is a hunting/work truck. They do absorb odors once you sweat on them and can make your truck smell funky. That being said its simple to pop them off, hand wash them and put them right back on.

I would still buy them again though.

I had them in my '95 4Runner and loved them.

I'm getting a set for my 2011 now that there is a group buy going on (check out the link in my sig).

According to urbandictionary, you might be onto something...

However, I doubt they'd mean in the context of swamp ass. More like, your ass is wet so sit down on a seat cover made of wetsuit material.

My previous car had leather seats. Burning hot in the summer. Cold in the winter and too slippery. Can't imagine driving my truck without Wet Okoles.

So for as much as people praise these, it looks like people are 50/50 satisfied/dissatisfied w/them.

I just sit on a beach towel in the summer. that solves any swamp ass issues.
