Do you need a steel bumper for a winch?

    I was about to post a thread about this.

    I have lo-pro steel bumper and thinking of swapping it with a full aluminum bumper but my question was whether or not the bumper can hold up to winching. If I start pulling 10-15k for whatever reason will the bumper hold up?

    Yeah, and I have issues when turning a cork screw, cant imagine the fun in turning a soil anchor!
