Get the trailer if you can. I have a Crawdad that goes in the bed. Pain the in ass putting the boat in, filling it. Then unfilling it, unloading at the site. After a day of fishing, unfilling it, load it. Get home. Unfill, unload. Boat gets heavy at the end. You could unload it full. But that could get heavy and dangerous. Once we tried that and I was pulling the boat to get to bow. My buddy was guiding it out the stern. He didn't have a grip and stern fell right on his foot. Lucky he didn't break it.

Where are you located? Here in FL you can buy a brand new 15' alu trailer for like $500. Make sense and also makes you resale on the JB much easier.
