    RIP Lucy.
    She's gone but not forgotten.
Back in 1982 I was in the Air Force, stationed in Riverside Ca., but home was Colorado Springs CO. A buddy of mine in the AF was from Pueblo CO. We decided we were going to drive home for Christmas, I had leave but he didn't so we were gonna drive to CO, he would drive back in a couple days before he was missed, I'd fly back when my leave was over.

So to try and make his time at home longer he was gonna drive straight through. He worked all day, when he got off we got in the car and left.

Made it though the night, but early in the morning he fell asleep at the wheel. We went off the road, through a barrier, and off the side of a bridge, hit the wall on the side of the road under the bridge. A bunch of cars stopped to help, someone managed to get my door open, my friend was knocked out but I got him awake and he kicked his door open.

A New Mexico state trooper came by (this was just west of Grants NM). The fire truck and ambulance didn't show for a while after he did.

I was standing by the troopers car while he was asking me questions and telling me if we hadn't been wearing seat belts we'd be two big bloody spots on that wall, when I started shaking uncontrollably. The cop told me I was going into shock, to lay down in the back seat of his car and put my feet up, he was gonna look after my buddy who was hurt worse than I was. I told him I had to go pee.

He told me to go behind his car. As messed up as I was (spent nearly 30 days in the hospital) I still had the frame of mind to pee on his license plate!

Yeah I know not nice to do to someone helping save my friggin life, but still I thought it was funny.

And that's MY story about my favorite place to have taken a leak!

I think he said "diving" not "driving" which is in important distinction. Unless it was a typo and he actually meant driving. Then he needs therapy. :)

Get a load of this one....Last year, one of our brand new guys was at his first real working fire.During overhaul,he had to piss really bad and asked a Senior guy what he should do....The conversation went like this:

Senior Man:"Just let it go Man,it's what we all do"

    Rookie:"You're joking....Right?"

SM:"No Bro,we're soaked anyways, you're changing when we get back to the House anyways right?"

    R:"I 'spose"

At this point, the rooks eyes rolled back a little, and the SM said..."Tell me you didn't just piss your pants":D

R:"Err,nooo" Later it was discovered that he had just about filled one of his boots.

He took his ball-busting like a man,he's a really good guy.He was however dubbed "Piss 'n boots"

I never thought about firefighters having to pee at inopportune moments. Now I may never look at firefighters the same way again....LOL! Piss 'n boots! Bwwwaaaahahahaha! :D

So where do you go if you really have to during a fire?
