Do you prefer dry heat or humid heat?

I absolutely with out a doubt want dry heat. After being born and raised in Wisconsin, done training in Kentucky, Georgia, Louisiana, California. Visited 30 states in the great US of A. Deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Dry heat for the win forget humidity lol.

I'll bet that dry heat out west around Christmas time feels pretty durn good compared to the east.

 

Today is going to be over 100* and 65% humidity and its going to be beautiful. You guys don't realize AZ has humid days too, where are your 115+ days? I'll take today over 115+ anytime

I have grown up with humid heat in Kansas... when it gets to 105 here is feels no different than 95. Anything over the mid 90's is just bad. That said the south and the southwest can be way way worse, at least here it rains and or drys out at some point.

 

Come up to Pennsylvania...its a frigin sauna up here sometimes!
I'd take dry heat anyday!

Oh man it is like 75 degrees here right now with 0 humidity. Love it

 

Fortunately, I've only really experienced stifling humidity once, and that was in the early 2000s when I went to St. Louis during a record heat wave. I remember driving by a bank and its digital thermometer read 105. Add in humidity and it was brutal.

I'm born and raised in SoCal, so I've had it pretty easy. In fact, right now in Anaheim (where I live), it's 69 degrees and cloudy.

 

Wtf. There is such thing as dry heat? All I've ever know is hot humid air that knocks the breath out of you the second that you step out of the house lol. It definitely sucks. Try working outside on an 85 degree day, right after a rain, with the sun shining. It's horrible. What makes it worse is that you don't feel hot but are still pouring sweat and look like you jumped in a pool after about 10 mins. of work. If you haven't experience a rainy, deep south summer, then you don't know what humid weather is.

 

Dry Heat! I grew up in Arizona. You can actually go in the shade and cool off. We had a mist system setup in our carport, that shit was awesome!!
