Didn't keep it that long to find out.
It was a smooth running and fast mini truck for the day that I used to race my friend with a 240z with and get him off the line and first 2 gears then he'd wave good bye.
Sucker was thirsty too at 10-13 mpg.

4.56 gears, rear trutrac,DT header, 235/85r16 Duratracs, 2nd filter pulled, inter.wipers, Cruise control, Factory alum. whls/winter tires(2nd set), Afe pro Dry-S , Dumbo eared flaps cut down.
4cyl filter is below the passenger side manifold/ bottom access..... as on most trucks, the 4.0 on top is good, but not representitive of all tacos or all trucks in general

lol what the!! a few people assuming their taco is the template for the rest.......so here are a few epiphanies... ...there are 5 speed ..manual trans , there are tacos w/o traction control buttons at all..., w/o lockers, w/o 4 doors , with 120k or so spark plug intervals and not 30k , tacos that out turn most cars wit a 35' turn radius and not 40', and dang they are fun too.

    Ok back on the thread.
