Do you run bumper shackles?

    I leave my rear bumper shackles off. It's a poser look when you're driving around town, also I don't want it messing with the powder coating on my bumper.
    I use BP Fab's front recovery point. You don't need a TRD skid to run it. I leave the shackle on full time in the front bc I like the poser look, haha. Do whatever you think is cool man. https://www.bpfabricating.com/products/tacoma-recovery-tow-hook

    I keep 5 shackles along with a hitch recovery point in my recovery gear, which lives under my back seats full time. If you're getting recovery gear, do not cheap out by using Harbor Freight supplies, it's usually your only life line and when recovery gear breaks, it tends to cause a lot of damage.

    I just leave them on and have them tightened down so you need tools to remove them. It's also just one less thing that's in the recovery bag.
