Some pics from over a year ago, of "some" of my stoves. One not pictured would have paid for a very nice custom, front bumper. Not pictured are my two and three burner Coleman and Optimus stoves. One old 9C Coleman dates to the late 20's. I have two Primus 96 stoves that are 102 and 103 years old per the date code. Here's one from 1913. I have MSR's first model, a model 9, a bunch of Optimus 8 and 8R stoves.

I love my MSR Rapidfire. Great find this summer.

Nice stove collection. I used nothing but Coleman stoves growing up. I just recently switched over to a CampChef stove last spring and I'm very happy about it.

I do snow camp. I did the loop from Vancouver to West Harrison Lake up to Sloquet Hot Springs the weekend before Christmas. We camped there one night and then left north to Pemberton the next day, over to whistler, down the Sea to Sky Highway to Squamish and looping back towards Vancouver. I've done this loop 3 times in the spring/summer but never in winter. Its over 200KM on gravel. Towards the northern end of Harrison Lake there are a lot of drainage ditches, a few shallow water crossings and some steep rocky and off camber terrain. There was about a foot of snow getting there. We were clearing fresh tracks for about 30-40KM at the north end of Harrison. The turnoff up to Sloquet Creek is pot hole hell, and it was especially bad in the snow because there was other vehicles tracks that the truck was locked into. Once back to the main FSR it was fairly smooth sailing to the north. They had been running graders to clear the snow on the road. I did this trip with a friend, our Tacoma's and our girlfriends.

I'm hoping to do another trip in the snow in February.

Nice, I'd a been snow shoeing with that much snow. I usually go solo, so I pick and choose a little where I should go and might have issues returning from.
