I have a 100% hand car wash about 3 miles away that I use. I'll gladly pay $25 plus tip to let someone else sweat in this Florida heat washing the truck.

I've never washed mine in 3 years since it was ceramic glass coated. I've hosed it off a bunch of bird poop almost everyday during the warmer weather, but thats about it.

I don't use any auto car washes. I hand wash my truck with an old hand towel, tire brush and one bucket. My truck has a three crossbar rack system for carrying my boats. I would have to remove these racks to use an auto car wash. I usually wash it every other month depending on how many dirt roads I've been on. If I get any good ol' Georgia red clay on it I'll wash it off with a hose. That dirt will stain just about anything.

Touchless during the winter to rinse the salt, hand wash during the summer. Between the water tank, solar panel and pelican case on the roof rack and the CVT tent on the bed during the summer months, I dont have much of a choice but hand wash.

I use one of those small self-service places around the corner from my house. I'll never run any of my vehicles through an automated car wash. The "touch-free" versions are a waste of time/money. The little self-serve place I use has a reverse-osmosis system for the final rinse, and it's truly 100% spot-free, so I don't have to bother drying or using a leaf blower.

I go through occasionally, usually the touchless ones. I haven’t hand washed a vehicle in 10 years or more.

Not through gas station car washes, but definitely through automated car wash establishments. I drive my truck through mud, sand, snow, on desert and mountain trails, etc- I’m not bothered by an automated car wash. I mean do as you please, but it’s not a Bentley or a Porsche. The time saved FARRRRR outweighs any potential tiny scratch.

I only drivetru touch less car wash at least once a week and no damage to my Taco or any other vehicles that I own. Would never touch or let the dealer detail my truck as for fear of swirls so it is safer touch less car wash. just saying

I take mine through a touch less basic wash when I don’t feel like spraying it down. I’ll usually follow it up with a ceramic drying agent or similar. No issues.

Maybe after a few years I'll run it through our wash here at the shop. But with it being so new I am hand-washing all the time. I have the luxury of being able to wash it in the shop during the winter which is nice.

I have twice in 3 years when it was free since my truck has been new. I used to take my Dark green Jeep through them all the . It added swirl marks and was rough on the clear coat not to mention didn't always clean it well. Now I usually wash at home with hose, bucket, wash mitt, or electric pressure washer or Go to a local pay n spray car wash.

Me too, I use touchless and those with "blue mops". No problem even with Prinsu rack on.
